Team India’s appearance at the Asian Games is different from its usual international cricket kit. Since the Asian Games are a multi-sport event, Indian cricketers are part of the wider Indian contingent and use the official contingent kit.
The Asian Games jersey was designed around the “Invisible Trajectories” concept and was developed by Aaquib Wani with JSW Inspire, the official sports and lifestyle kit partner for the Indian Olympic Association’s contingent.
This explains why fans have seen Indian cricketers wearing a different design from the familiar Team India jersey used in regular bilateral and ICC competitions.
