Natural Star Nani’s highly anticipated action drama The Paradise has received fresh attention after director Srikanth Odela opened up about the film’s roots in real-life experiences. In a recent interaction with the media, Odela revealed that several incidents he witnessed while growing up in his hometown in Telangana heavily influenced the story.
The film is based on several little real-life incidents which I witnessed while growing up. I have seen several incidents near my hometown. I have taken several incidents from Telangana and made it as a part of the film,” the director said.
This personal connection adds a strong local social context to the narrative, which centres on a marginalized community denied basic rights for years and a leader who rises to fight the oppression.
A Story Rooted in Reality and Emotion
The Paradise marks the second collaboration between Nani and Srikanth Odela after their 2023 blockbuster Dasara. The film is described as a revolutionary and emotional story that also explores the bond between a mother and son within the oppressed community. Nani Calls It His Most Tiring Film
Lead actor Nani has described The Paradise as the most physically and mentally exhausting project of his 18-year career. He also cleared up circulating rumours, stating there is no underwater sequence and no fight involving a thousand people. “This is a genuine story and there are a lot of action blocks. There are scenes that will give audiences a good high. The audience will feel the emotion in the violence,” Nani said.
The film has received an ‘A’ certificate from the CBFC and runs for approximately 2 hours 49 minutes. It is scheduled for a worldwide theatrical release on September 24, 2026, in multiple languages including Telugu, Hindi, Tamil, Kannada, Malayalam, and others.
