Kiren Rijiju Questions Rahul Gandhi’s Political Strategy, Lists Seven Suggestions for Congress Leader

Union Parliamentary Affairs Minister Kiren Rijiju has intensified the political exchange between the BJP and Congress by publishing seven suggestions directed at Rahul Gandhi.

In a social media post dated November 4, 2026, Rijiju criticised the Congress leader’s political approach and questioned several aspects of his activities, including his participation in parliamentary discussions and the functioning of his party.

His remarks, reported on November 5, have added another dimension to the ongoing disagreement between the ruling party and the Opposition.

Rijiju Questions Gandhi’s Political Approach

Rijiju’s seven suggestions covered Rahul Gandhi’s political engagements, leadership style and relationship with other political figures.

The minister advised Gandhi to spend more time in India instead of taking frequent foreign vacations. He also suggested that the Congress leader should respect senior politicians and learn from their experience.

Rijiju further questioned Gandhi’s association with people he described as anti-India and called for changes in his approach towards the BJP, RSS and Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

His criticism also covered parliamentary participation, constitutional values and the internal democratic structure of the Congress party.

Parliamentary Debate Becomes Another Point of Conflict

The exchange comes at a time when Rahul Gandhi has challenged Prime Minister Narendra Modi to participate in an open public debate.

Gandhi has called for a discussion on allegations concerning foreign interference and other national issues, suggesting that the debate should take place before journalists and young people.

Rijiju, meanwhile, questioned the Opposition’s commitment to parliamentary proceedings.

The minister had previously shared a video showing opposition members walking out during his speech in Parliament. He argued that Parliament should be used for meaningful discussion rather than political confrontation.

Kharge Raises Questions Over Electoral Transparency

Congress president Mallikarjun Kharge has also joined the political exchange by raising allegations of vote theft and demanding answers from the BJP leadership.

Kharge maintained that concerns about electoral transparency should not be ignored.

Rijiju subsequently defended his controversial use of the expression Dimaagi Naxal and explained the political positions he associated with the term.

The exchange reflects the growing disagreement between the two parties over political language, election-related concerns and parliamentary behaviour.

Internal Democracy Becomes Part of BJP’s Criticism

Rijiju also targeted the Congress party’s organisational structure, particularly its leadership system and allegations of dynastic politics.

He argued that the party should strengthen internal decision-making and move towards a more democratic organisational framework.

His comments have brought the question of internal democracy back into the BJP-Congress political confrontation.

Political Tensions Continue Between BJP and Congress

The latest remarks highlight the continuing differences between the two parties over parliamentary accountability, electoral transparency and political leadership.

While Rijiju has focused on Rahul Gandhi’s conduct and the Congress organisation, Gandhi and Kharge have continued questioning government policies and election-related matters.

The exchange demonstrates how political disagreements are increasingly being carried through parliamentary speeches, social media statements and public challenges.
