Marvel’s Spider-Man: Brand New Day, starring Tom Holland, has reportedly crossed the ₹500 crore net mark in India, becoming the first Hollywood film to achieve this milestone in the country in 2026.
According to the latest trade figures, the film has recorded approximately ₹500–503 crore net in India (with gross collections estimated around ₹590–598 crore). It has now emerged as one of the highest-grossing releases of 2026 in the Indian market, sitting behind only major domestic titles such as Dhurandhar: The Revenge on some charts.
The film opened strongly in India (released around late July 2026) and collected a massive ₹334–336 crore in its extended first week. It followed up with over ₹100 crore in the second week and continued a steady long run, adding smaller but consistent amounts in subsequent weeks to finally breach the ₹500 crore net barrier.
Strong performance across English, Hindi-dubbed and other language versions.
Robust occupancy in premium formats and multiplexes.
Sustained hold even as it entered later weeks of its theatrical run.
Spider-Man: Brand New Day is the first Hollywood title to enter the ₹500 crore net club in India. Previous Hollywood benchmarks (such as Avatar: The Way of Water and Avengers: Endgame) had set high bars on gross collections, but this film has rewritten the net collection record for foreign-language releases in the Indian market.
It has also outperformed several major Hindi releases of 2026 on the annual charts and further underlined the growing appetite for big-scale Hollywood superhero content among Indian audiences.
Directed as part of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, the film features Tom Holland reprising his role as Peter Parker / Spider-Man, alongside Zendaya and a supporting cast that includes Jacob Batalon and others. The strong Indian performance adds to its global box-office success, which has also been substantial worldwide.
