Why is There a Khairatabad Bypoll?
Danam Nagender won the Khairatabad seat in the 2023 Assembly elections on a BRS ticket. However, in March 2024, he joined the Congress and contested the Secunderabad Lok Sabha election on a Congress ticket without resigning as MLA.
