Actor and filmmaker Konkona Sen Sharma is on the mend after being hospitalised with dengue fever. The Lust Stories 3 star shared a reassuring health update with fans on Instagram, confirming she is feeling better while advising everyone to remain careful about the mosquito-borne illness.
In a post on her Instagram Stories, Konkona shared a picture of herself sitting on a hospital bed in a hospital gown, playfully saluting the camera. She wrote:
“Guys, watch out for dengue. Was in the hospital but better now.”
The update brought relief to fans who had grown concerned after learning of her hospitalisation. Reports indicate she has been spending time reading while recovering. Soon after the health update, she also shared promotional pictures related to Lust Stories 3, which premiered on Netflix on September 18, 2026.
Dengue is a viral infection transmitted by mosquitoes and is common during the monsoon and post-monsoon seasons in many parts of India. While fever often subsides after the acute phase, recovery can take longer.
