Scattered Thunderstorms Expected in Several Telangana Districts Including Khammam and Mahabubabad on October 3.

Scattered thunderstorms over Telangana districts

Scattered thunderstorms are expected across several districts of Telangana on Saturday, October 3, 2026, according to the latest weather reports.

The eastern parts of the state are most likely to witness the activity. Districts such as Khammam, Mahabubabad, Bhadradri Kothagudem, Suryapet and Mulugu may experience scattered thunderstorms from the afternoon through the night.

Isolated thunderstorms are also possible in Nalgonda, Nagarkurnool, Rangareddy, Yadadri Bhuvanagiri, Warangal, Mahabubnagar, Wanaparthy and Jogulamba Gadwal.

Hyderabad city is not entirely out of the picture either — isolated thunderstorms could occur from the afternoon to night. However, residents should not expect major relief from the ongoing hot and humid conditions, which are likely to persist across the state despite the chance of rain.

Other districts may see only isolated light rain or remain largely dry.

Thunderstorms, if they occur, may be accompanied by brief spells of rain and possible lightning.

Farmers and outdoor workers in the affected districts are advised to stay updated with official bulletins from the India Meteorological Department (IMD) and take necessary precautions.

Commuters should remain cautious during evening hours when thunderstorm activity is more likely.

The overall weather pattern continues to feature high temperatures and humidity, with only temporary and localized relief expected from the scattered thunderstorms.

Stay tuned for further updates from the Meteorological Centre, Hyderabad
