India added two more medals to its tally at the Aichi-Nagoya Asian Games 2026 on Thursday, with Satnam Singh and Salman Khan securing bronze in rowing and Roshibina Devi winning silver in wushu. The performances further strengthened India’s medal campaign at the continental sporting event.
In rowing, the Indian pair of Satnam Singh and Salman Khan finished third in the men’s double sculls final. The duo clocked 6:13.25 at the Nagaragawa International Regatta Course to claim the bronze medal. China’s Yi Xudi and Nie Yide won gold with 6:09.37, while Uzbekistan’s Pavel Sorin and Mekhrojbek Mamatkulov took silver with 6:10.49.
The Indian rowers remained in second position at the 500m, 1000m and 1500m marks and were close to the Chinese pair for much of the race. However, they slipped to third during the final stretch and finished with a podium place.

Meanwhile, Naorem Roshibina Devi delivered another strong performance in wushu. She won the silver medal in the women’s Sanda 60kg category after losing the final to China’s Zhang Xiaoyu. Zhang won both rounds 5-0.
Roshibina’s silver is particularly notable because it is her second consecutive Asian Games silver medal in the event, following her silver at the Hangzhou Games. Her latest medal added another podium finish to India’s growing medal tally at the 2026 Asian Games.
With these two medals, India’s overall tally reached 14 medals — one gold, six silver and seven bronze, according to reports available on September 24.
