The concept involves using underground tunnels to move high-speed vehicles between Austin and San Antonio. The proposed journey could take less than 30 minutes, compared with much longer road journeys during periods of heavy traffic.The Austin-San Antonio corridor is an important transportation route in Texas and is connected by Interstate 35, a major highway that frequently experiences congestion.
